Marvel’s Agents of Shield 4×16 “What If…” Review.

I know… i know, im late and im sorry, but i hope this review was worth the wait… (That is if you were waiting for it)

So, As the LMD arc ends and this new “Agents of Hydra” arc begins, Let me start off by staying… This episode (And hopefully the entire arc) was amazing. First things first, Ward. Is. Back. Ward quickly became a beloved villain, and when he was killed by Coulson we all shed a tear, only to rejoice when the Inhuman, Hive, took over Wards dead body… but alas, when Hive was defeated and killed, we all thought that was the last of Ward, but it wasn’t. Ward back… but with a twist! Instead Of being a Hydra agent pretending to be a Shield agent, in the framework… iTS REVERSED!!! Ward is a good guy! It was great to see him being in a relationship with “Skye” and here’s hoping he gets some badass action sequences soon.

Coulson was as amazing as ever, not much changed except Clark Gregg did awesome being a teacher who teaches a class about Inhumans and why we fear them.

Daisy, which is now back to Skye lol, did awesome having to literally wake up to this different world as well as the new world order.

Now, as you would expect, May is… still May lol. The only thing so far that has changed with May is she didn’t kill the girl in Bahrain but because of the outcome she still has the same Stone Wall personality we all love.

Next up on my review is Fitz. Fitz is a perfect example of why Shields characters are loved so much, because every actor gets to play a different version of their character almost every season. For instance, in season 1 Fitz was the dorky scientist who could do no wrong, In season 2 he was a scientist going crazy from having a mental block because of when Ward dropped him and Simmons out of the plane into the water. In season 3 Fitz got to play more of a hero character, even traveling universes away to save simmons, now in season 4, he gets to play “The Doctor” who is 2nd in command in Hydra.

Wrapping up also wanted to give a shout out to Elizabeth Henstridge who did fantastically, especially in the Simmons and Coulson scene in the classroom.

Also Madam Hydra was cool but she was only in a scene so we will hopefully see more of her.

All in all, once again Shield makes yet another great episode and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Arrow theory: Who is Vigilante? My ideas and speculations.

So… Arrow Season 5 has introduced The Vigilante this season and everyone is wondering who it is. Since the Arrow Writers said they know who it is but we won’t be getting a reveal till next season, I figured now is as good a time as ever to speculate. So, without further ado, here are my top ideas and speculations on who Arrow’s Vigilante is. (And I know they said he’s someone we have met but can we REALLY trust them?)

Number 1.) Greg Saunders. For those who aren’t as well versed in the lore of DC Comics, Greg Saunders was the 1st Vigilante , (Yes there are more than one Vigilante, but we’ll get to that later.) Greg was more of a western cowboy-ish hero similar to Jonah Hex. Because of this he would obviously be a revitalized and revamped version of Greg Saunders.

Number 2.) Adrian Chase. (Your minds right now… WHAAAAAAA?) As I mentioned above, there were actually 2 Vigilantes, Greg, and much later Adrian Chase. Adrian’s Vigilante was much more modern and look very similar to Arrow’s costume. Now, as you know Adrian Chase was also introduced this season but turned out being Prometheus. The writers said they did that on purpose to throw people off the scent. So, I’ve said before I do think if they went this route, which they might, Prometheus could have just stolen the Adrian Chase identity.

Number 3.) Paul Holt. I’ll be honest I don’t really believe this one but I’ve seen this theory thrown around so i figured why not. Now, Paul has been in Season 5 a considerable amount. And truth be told, it could be a hint towards something. And if the writers are telling the truth, this would be the only pick that would make sense.

Let’s Talk Arrow Season 5….

AS you all know Arrow started out very strong with seasons 1 and 2. 3 was mediocre but I found it enjoyable to say the least. Season 4 was when Arrow lost all credibility. An awful season with awful side plots. But Season 5 is back to the season one roots. Amazing villain, Prometheus/Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra). Season 5 is starting to earn back the credibility it once had.  7eeef7c3fdb2cb005f25143ccf7650bc596ac32e

But how did an awful season filled with romance and boring characters become an amazing season that outshines all the other DCTV shows…? I think it was the writers realizing the fuck up that was S4 and to some degree S3. Heading back on the right track they’ve been going this year. The introduction of the new Team, Dinah Drake, Rene Ramirez/Wild Dog and Ragman just to name a few, was what Arrow needed. Fresh new characters to make it more refreshing. As well as better acting and action. Image result for arrow season 5 new team

Now it’s time for what I think they can do in these last few episodes to keep the seasons good. First…… Return Ollie back to Lian Yu for the Flashbacks. Focus on episodes about Ollie and Chase. Another thing NO FILLER EPISODES PLEASE. Keep the show focused on Adrian (Prometheus) breaking down and destroying Ollies life. And last but not least give us a few flashbacks of Chase training and becoming the man he is today. Show us his training and him preparing to take down Oliver. One more thing!!! PLEASE FOR GODS SAKE ENOUGH WITH THE DUMB HACKING GROUP AKA HELIX! 5×19 Sounds like an episode where the team goes against it. Would be a good place to end the org.  Image result for arrow season 5 flashbacks talia

Let’s talk Flashbacks.. I am gonna start out and say this. SEASON 5 FLASHBACKS ARE MY NEW FAVORITE! I love the Russia vibe. Talia is cool as well. And let’s not forget Anatoly. I am really enjoying seeing Ollie suit up as The Hood an finally becoming The Monster we all know and love. I often find myself enjoying the flashbacks more then the main plot. But I think it’s time for Ollie to return to the island now. For me Flashbacks go 5>1>2>3>4.Related image

Final stuff… Going to discuss what I’ve LOVED, LIKED and DISLIKES from season 5. I have loved the new characters (like I stated before) sadly they have underused Ragman. Also, please more Vigilante he’s the most interesting character to me since he isn’t Chase! who could he be?!?! I love the action and fighting scenes. Cinematography has been great as well, I’ve liked that this season. S5 is shot good as well. Only episodes I didn’t like was 5×10, the Black Siren one. I was never a big Laurel fan. Hopefully that will change next season. I also didn’t like how they’ve re used set props and places so much. Between The Flash and Arrow it’s annoying.  arrow-5x07-promo-vigilante-hd-season-5-episode-7-promo.png

Prison Break Season 5: Premiere Review

Prison Break is the latest on a long list of tv shows to be renewed after years of being canceled or coming to a natural conclusion. If you thought Prison Break was now done with storytelling, you were wrong. The premiere of Prison Break aired April 4, 2017 and brought up a lot of questions. Although, It was no surprise that Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) was returning, there still lies the question of how he is going to break out of prison and what its going to cost the two brothers.

The premiere offers a good look at whether or not Prison Break is going to return to its old roots, for better or worse. The premiere stayed close to the previous seasons but not yet, can compare. Does this mean it’s bad? No, it just means so far, it’s nothing phenomenal.

If you’ve watched The Flash or Legends of Tomorrow, seeing Purcell and Miller side by side once again isn’t that special, and that unfortunately takes away from this new season of Prison Break. We haven’t gotten a lot of storytelling, at least yet, due to the fast pacing of the premiere in attempt to kick-start the new season.

It’s clear from the start of this season that it’s directly aimed at longtime viewers, so if you’re a newcomer, it may be hard to follow along with what’s exactly going on. Though, Prison Break still can be a fun ride for newcomers as it’s packed with great action and fun twists to even intrigue those who aren’t caught up. A huge plus, the performances are great all around, which is enough to help the viewer get invested in the character once again or for the first time. While it’s highly recommended you watch the previous seasons before the new season, it’s not necessary.

Prison Break Season 5 is up to a good start, earning my 4/5 star rating.

A good start to the long overdue Prison Break revival that should leave fans in for a good treat.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow S2 Finale Review.

Will contain spoilers. Enter at your own risk!

So the Season Two of Legends just ended. And I’ve got some thoughts on the episode as well as the season. First, the episode was pretty average. Not amazing but not bad either. VFX seemed to be better then the previous episodes this season. Action felt the same no real improvements. The cliffhanger at the end was really dumb, but I’ll touch on that later.

I think it’s fair to say this episode didn’t live up to a lot of our standards. But, I’m pretty sure Snart and Rip will be back for season 3.

The scene with Eobard and the multiple versons of himself was cool. Black Flash was also very impressive. One of my favorite parts was when Mick and the other version of Mick had some beef. That was funny and made me laugh. As well as the Laurel cameo it was very special and Sara getting some closure.

Time for the cliffhanger at the end. It sets up season 3 in LA but it’s over run with dinosaurs…. I am still undecided on this, it could turn out to be interesting or really bad…

But I will give the episode a 7.5/10. But season 2 overall earns a 8.5/10 from me. I seriously loved this season. Hopefully season 3 can be this good.
